Fuori \u00e8 silenzio, ma dentro c\u2019\u00e8 un rumore sordo: quello dei pensieri che tornano, ancora, a bussare. Non c\u2019\u00e8 pi\u00f9 spazio per le scuse, n\u00e9 per le illusioni. Solo la voglia di tagliare, bruciare, lasciarsi alle spalle tutto quello che pesa.<br>\u201cWrong Day\u201d \u00e8 il brano d\u2019apertura del primo EP dei Dark Matter Th., trio rock toscano che mette in musica le crepe emotive di una generazione inquieta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con un sound che affonda le radici nel grunge degli anni \u201990, ma che guarda dritto negli occhi il presente, \u201cWrong Day\u201d \u00e8 una confessione cruda e senza filtri. Il protagonista si sveglia all\u2019alba, in una giornata come tante, e ad attenderlo ritrova i suoi \u201ctroubles\u201d, diventati ormai parte della sua normalit\u00e0. Ma stavolta qualcosa \u00e8 cambiato. Nella voce \u2013 ruvida, affaticata ma ancora viva \u2013 c\u2019\u00e8 la consapevolezza di un punto di rottura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI gave you all the time you needed \/ I\u2019m sick and tired of all these feelings \/ So get the fuck away\u201d: parole che non hanno bisogno di spiegazioni, solo di essere urlate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dal punto di vista strettamente musicale, il brano \u00e8 costruito con intelligenza e intensit\u00e0. La chitarra di Ennio alterna tensione e rilascio con riff tesi, quasi soffocati, che esplodono nei ritornelli. La batteria di Lapo, incalzante e mai banale, tiene tutto in pugno con precisione chirurgica.
